I am a committed restructuring litigation partner at Akin. I take the lead on all aspects of complex financial restructuring litigation matters. Having litigated some of the most complex chapter 11 cases and cross-border insolvencies, I focus on impactful and creative advocacy to facilitate the strongest outcomes for my clients within the broader bankruptcy case or restructuring process. I frequently serve as lead trial counsel in bankruptcy and district courts throughout the country, and commonly advise clients on the litigation implications of restructuring decisions, liability management exercises and corporate transactions. I also regularly represent major international and domestic corporations, private equity and hedge funds and financial service companies in bet-the-company complex commercial, M&A and securities litigations and international arbitrations. I conduct internal investigations for debtors and creditors, as well as multinational financial institutions, examining issues of fraud and regulatory compliance.
