ABOUT AVERY PINGUE

I am a graduate of the Honours Bachelor of Commerce with Internship program at McMaster University. During my 5 years, I pursued an area of focus in Human Resources, as I want to help organizations achieve their objectives through managing human talent. I also completed a minor in Economics, and am working towards the CHRP designation. In my fourth year, I completed a 16-month Talent Acquisition Internship at GEOTAB. In this role, I managed the full-cycle recruitment of a business line where I successfully hired over 55 candidates in 12-months. I also had the opportunity to develop a new 3-week Junior Summer Program for high-school students to gain valuable work experience and develop both personally and professionally. After graduating I returned to Geotab as a Campus Talent Specialist, where I work to recruit top early talent in the fields of Data & Analytics, Hardware Engineering, Operations, and Marketing.🤝 In my role as Director of the DeGroote Ambassador Program, I led a team of 4 Executives and 130 Student Ambassadors. Together, we worked to recruit students to the DeGroote School of Business.In this role, I planned 3 Open Houses for over prospective students to learn more about our Commerce programs. I also managed drop-in sessions, 1:1 chats, tours, and more for prospective students to learn more about the Commerce program.In my free time I enjoy playing sports, reading, trying new recipes🧑‍, and travelling
