Hello, my name is Avery Jones and I’m currently a junior at Morehouse College studying psychology and minoring in criminal justice. I’m from Saint Louis Missouri and also active on the Morehouse track & field team. I’m looking for internships over the summer involving psychology. Hard worker, give 110% in everything I do, and also very passionate. On top of that I have a great personality and easy to get along with.

1. Postal Inspector

   United States Postal Service

   May 2025 — Present

   As a Postal Inspector Intern, I gained hands-on experience supporting federal law enforcement investigations focused on protecting the U.S. Mail and the postal system. My role involved exposure to a broad range of cases, including: • Mail Fraud Investigations: Assisted with reviewing evidence, preparing reports, and supporting case development in fraud schemes involving the postal system. • Narcotics and Drug Trafficking Cases: Participated in investigative tasks related to identifying and intercepting illicit drugs sent through the mail. • Surveillance and Field Operations Support: Observed and contributed to operational planning and execution alongside Postal Inspectors. • Evidence Management: Assisted in organizing, cataloging, and securing evidence collected during investigations. • Administrative and Research Tasks: Conducted research on suspects, prepared case summaries, and supported data analysis for ongoing cases.This internship strengthened my skills in investigative research, attention to detail, and understanding of federal law enforcement procedures. I developed a strong appreciation for teamwork, confidentiality, and the mission of protecting the public and the integrity of the postal system.
