For my third summer at BT Law, I’ve been entrusted with a unique opportunity — to focus exclusively on House Bill 96, Ohio’s biennial fiscal budget for FY 2026–2027, including Governor Mike DeWine’s budget initiatives. It’s a challenging, fast-paced experience that puts me at the heart of state policymaking and public finance. In addition to my primary focus, I am continuing to-Monitor and track various legislation, such as that related to Healthcare and Education, through customized software-Attend and report on legislative committee hearings at the Ohio Statehouse-Draft client reports, newsletters, and policy alerts while maintaining good relationships with clients-Research for upcoming legislative proposalsThis summer, I am grateful to be strengthening my lobbying skills by working alongside some of the most respected lobbyists in the city of Columbus and beyond.
