ABOUT AVERY LEVIRS

I am currently a HR/LR Coordinator at the LNG Woodfibre project that is a joint venture project with Ledcor and Bird construction. Being in an on-site HR/LR role, on a project site gives me the extra knowledge on safety and knowledge within the construction industry. Using my strength of my interpersonal skills, I have built many strong connections amongst our craft and staff employees. Gaining skills on problem solving, employee engagement and improving employee morale. Building relationships with our Union Reps, and the processes within a unionized workforce. I have been developing my leadership skills by establishing processes and ensuring policies, collective agreements and requirements are being followed and met. Especially being on this Woodfibre LNG project I have had the opportunity to work with Squamish Nation to provide employment opportunities to our local indigenous communities, and to help promote an inclusive work environment here on this project site.
