   This summer, I worked as a Summer Analyst at Lombard Odier Investment Managers on the Sales/Investor Relations/Business Development desk. Under the guidance of my manager, Jason Eck, I became an expert in our fund offerings, our business and learned the fundamental principles of the investor relations business.As part of my role I researched and synthesized market data to streamline sales workflows, designed and implemented custom trackers and process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency and was involved in distribution of marketing materials and refinement of fund positioning strategies.I created targeted email templates for investor outreach, attended 100+ investor meetings, capturing key insights to shape messaging and fund positioning, collaborated closely with senior management, product specialists, and portfolio managers and engaged with diverse investor sectors and asset classes across North America, Latin America, and Europe.I helped create and integrate a custom proprietary software for business development and client management into our CRM, allowing us to better track investor communications and meetings, as well as industry news, firm allocation changes and RFP releases.In my spare time, I initiated and conducted a research project analyzing institutional investor investment preferences in private digital and energy assets, focusing on performance, trends, capital flows, market dynamics and forecasts. My project will culminate in a firm-wide presentation, open to eternal invitees and my research will be used for future investor analysis and fund marketing.
