ABOUT AVA WALLIS

I am currently an undergraduate volleyball student–athlete at Coastal Carolina University, graduating in three years with a degree in Business Management and a concentration in Entrepreneurship. I will continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Alabama as a graduate student–athlete, where I plan to pursue my MBA.Balancing Division I athletics with a full academic workload has strengthened my time management, discipline, adaptability, and performance-under-pressure skills. Through daily training, travel, competition, and academics, I’ve developed the ability to prioritize effectively, collaborate within diverse teams, and maintain accountability to both individual and group goals.I serve as a member of SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee), where I contribute to leadership initiatives, athlete representation, and community-focused efforts. I am also actively involved in the CCU Center for Applied Civic Leadership, supporting programs that advance civic engagement, pluralism, and community leadership on campus and beyond.Professionally, I have experience working directly with clients and customers in face-to-face environments, using technology systems to support operations, communication, and service delivery. These roles have strengthened my interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills.
