I am currently a R&D Chemist working for Safic Alcan UK in the personal care & homecare industry. This work includes creating & presenting new innovative formulation ideas to customers whilst promoting our new & exciting ingredients. We create marketing trend presentations to stay ahead of the game & I have experience in marketing & sales through this role.My Undergraduate and Masters degree allowed me to obtain a high variety of skills as well as a wide range of knowledge on many different Chemistry topics. These topics include: physical, organic, medicinal, inorganic, biology and analytical science. All of these modules have allowed me to develop my laboratory skills to a high level as well as transferable skills such as strong communication skills as well as teamwork within a lab setting, all useful within a scientific career.
