My name is Avanya Sihota, I am a Business Technology Management Co-op student at the Haskayne School of Business.After learning about Canadian exports and international business during my 8 months working at Global Affairs Canada, I grew a strong interest in regulatory work.I then explored this interest for 12 months as a Regulatory Affairs Co-op student at Trans Mountain Canada Inc. This gave me the opportunity to gain hands on experience and learn about Trans Mountain’s tolls, tariffs, and regulatory review process with the Canadian Energy Regulator.As I finish my degree and begin my career I am eager to explore opportunities where I can leverage my data analytics skill set and continue to learn about the regulatory world.
