Oversee the execution of leadership initiatives and departmental programs within the areas of Research, Operations, Professional Development, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, directly managing the areas of people operations, research support programs, and strategic communications. Supervise 7 direct reports who serve in a variety of unique and vital functions throughout the department including facility operations, departmental events, well-being and professional development offerings, DEI and education programs, and administrative support. Population Health Sciences is home to approximately 50 primary faculty, 60 secondary faculty, and 80 staff and trainees. Duke University School of Medicine is ranked #3 in the United States for NIH funding and #6 for research by US News and World Report.
