   Having Around 11 years of experience as a DB2 LUW Database Administrator, I have extensive knowledge of installation, configuration, upgrade, and migration of DB2 databases across versions 8.x, 9.x, 10.x, 11.1, and 11.5 on AIX, Linux, and Windows platforms. I have expertise in DB2 High Availability Disaster Recovery (HADR) implementation, TSM-based backups, and cross-node recovery. I have built and managed Database Partitioning Feature (DPF) environments for handling large-scale OLAP workloads.I have optimized database performance using Runstats, Reorg, db2advise, db2expln, and db2exfmt, ensuring query tuning and efficient resource utilization. My experience includes multi-standby HADR, TSA clustering, and VERITAS Cluster (VCS) integration to achieve high availability and disaster recovery. I have worked on backup and restore strategies, automated DB2 health checks and monitoring to ensure system stability, and reclaimed storage by reducing tablespace high-water marks.Additionally, I have experience in DB2 security hardening, encryption, SSL configuration, and auditing, ensuring compliance with industry standards. I have extensively worked on ITIL framework-based production support, handling incident management, change management, and problem management, and have maintained process documentation for smooth project execution. Furthermore, I have participated in external audits by providing necessary artifacts and ensuring compliance with security policies.
