About Ava Dziubek
I am a third year student in the Kelley School of Business, majoring in accounting. I have a strong desire for collaborating with others and taking on new leadership roles. I have showcased these strengths starting in high school. I was voted captain of the varsity soccer team by my teammates. In this role I communicated schedules to my teammates and organized captain led trainings. I also created an annual food drive through the local food drive St. Winifred Food Pantry during the holiday months to help those in need with basic necessities. In my role I was responsible for collecting donations, communicating project deadlines, and managing volunteers. In addition to this, as a camp counselor for the Mt. Lebanon Soccer Camp, I coached youth athletes soccer and basketball skills, and designed student-led activities that supported different learning styles. Now at Indiana University, I plan to continue to engage in leadership positions inside and outside of the classroom. I plan to join the Women In Accouting club and possible volunteer organizations such as Sole Hopes. I am expanding my knowledge with the rigorous classes that Kelley School of Business offers. I am proficient in word, excel, and access. I aspire to continue developing my strengths within an internship where I can showcase my communication, analytical and organizational capabilities. With my growth mindset, I look forward to the continuous development of the hands-on work experience that an internship will provide.
