As a senior at Appalachian State University, I’ve built a strong foundation in marketing, content creation, and brand strategy, fueled by my passion for the outdoor industry. Whether I’m crafting engaging social media campaigns, securing key partnerships, or capturing high-impact visuals, my goal is always the same—to tell compelling stories that connect brands with their audiences. As a sponsored athlete for Dagger Kayaks and Kokatat, I’ve worked closely with marketing teams and product managers to develop authentic, high-performing content that drives engagement. My experience extends beyond brand promotion—I understand what it takes to build a community and create experiences that resonate. At Beech Mountain Resort, I put these skills into action as a marketing intern, assisting in content creation for Beech Mountain Resort, Beech Mountain Brewing Co, and First Chair Coffee Shop. I also secured donations for the Runs for Buns Fundraiser, leveraging industry connections to support a great cause. Additionally, I assisted with group sales outreach, engaging schools, churches, and organizations to boost participation and revenue. Beyond marketing, I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills as a whitewater kayak instructor, where I guide students through both the technical and mental aspects of the sport. I’m looking for opportunities where I can combine my passion for digital marketing, storytelling, and brand strategy to drive meaningful engagement in the outdoor industry.
