About Ava Seifert

Most people do not grow up thinking, I want to work in health insurance.I definitely did not either. But I did grow up loving people, competition, and figuring things out. I’m a 100% extrovert at heart, which is probably why every chapter of my life has centered around connection in some way. I graduated from St. Norbert College with degrees in Business Administration and Economics, then spent two years in SEO learning how to tell stories through data. I learned how to take something complex and make it make sense, and that skill has stayed with me. Then I did something a little less expected and spent a year traveling through Europe and across the U.S. It gave me perspective, confidence, and a much broader view of how people live, work, and think. One of the most meaningful parts of my life has been working part-time as a respite caregiver for the past five years, helping children with autism build emotional intelligence and communication skills. That experience has shaped me in a big way. It taught me patience, empathy, and how to meet people where they are. That carries into how I work with clients every day. Before all of that, I was a collegiate goalie, so competition, discipline, and resilience are deeply wired into who I am. These days, that same drive shows up in my work and sometimes on the pickleball court too. Now I’m an Employee Benefits Advisor at Vizance, and I’m on a mission to change the way people experience health insurance. Because honestly, most people do not feel confident about their benefits. They do not fully understand them, and they are often left feeling overwhelmed. I know what that feels like, which is why I care so much about making benefits feel clear, approachable, and actually useful. My goal is to help employers and employees make sense of something that usually feels anything but human. Outside of work, I stay involved in the community by chairing the Connect Committee with Green Bay Chamber Young Professionals. I also bartend on weekends, ride my Yamaha TTR 110 pit bike, and spend as much time as I can fishing, golfing, or just being outside. And if you are ever in Green Bay, there is a good chance you will find me at Amphora or Pho Coma on Broadway.
