About Ava Reimer

Ava is a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of State\'s - Diplomatic Security Service. She is based in the Washington DC area. Her primary responsibilities have included criminal investigations, protection of high-ranking government-approved officials, certain foreign dignitaries, and security support of over 270 diplomatic posts around the world. Ava\'s background before the State Department is serving as a Business Analyst, Information Technology Specialist, and an Honors Graduate Student from American University in Washington DC. She has expertise in information technology, marketing, financial management, resiliency, human resources, and accounting.Her previous professional work experience includes working as a Senior Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton; working for NewDay USA as a Business Analyst; and working in New York City at Mutual of America in the Capital Management Division where she worked as a summer intern for three months in 2021. Before that, she worked for the United States Embassy in Cairo, Egypt in the Department of Human Resources. She looks forward to using her unique skillset and advanced education from American University\'s Kogod School of Business and applying it to new challenges in the domestic/international business, law enforcement, and diplomatic community.
