As a first-year student at Clemson University, I began in the General Engineering program with plans to pursue civil engineering. Over time, I discovered a stronger passion for communication, media, and policy, which led me to transfer into the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business to study Economics.My interest in media deepened through my work with The Tiger, Clemson’s student-run newspaper, where I’ve gained firsthand experience in writing, storytelling, and collaboration within a fast-paced editorial environment. I’m especially interested in how media shapes public understanding, influences policy, and connects people across different perspectives.I’m eager to continue building my creative and analytical skills through internships in journalism, communications, or media production. My academic interests include media studies, public policy, economics, law and language.
