Hello! I’m Ava Chavarria, a senior Marketing major at North Dakota State University with certificates in Professional Selling and Event Management. I played softball at NDSU for three years and have been active in sports since I was 4. Sports taught me teamwork, communication, coachability, and discipline—skills that have shaped how I approach challenges in the classroom, at work, and in everyday life.I was born and raised in San Diego, California, as an only child. Being an only child helped me become independent, creative, and curious about new things. Moving to Fargo challenged me to adapt to a new environment, helping me build resilience, discover my core values, and grow personally and professionally.
