   As Director of Operations at Make It Work Nevada, a policy-driven organization, I lead the internal infrastructure that supports our mission to advance reproductive justice for Black women and families. Grounded in the four core pillars—the right to have a child, not have a child, to parent in safe and supportive environments, and to exercise bodily autonomy—I build systems that make our advocacy, organizing, and storytelling efforts sustainable, strategic, and community-driven.I manage cross-functional operations to ensure alignment between daily work and long-term policy goals. This includes strategic planning, workflow design, and systems integration that foster collaboration across teams. I work directly with the Executive Director on calendar management, scheduling, and organizational priorities.I also oversee HR, budgeting, compliance, and internal culture-building to support a values-driven and sustainable workplace. I plan and execute organizational events—from community gatherings to staff retreats—and develop operational processes that center equity, community leadership, and lasting impact.
