The Faith Community Nursing (FCN) Coordinator supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of faith community nursing programs in assigned communities. Serving as a liaison between the healthcare system and local faith communities, the coordinator guides both paid and volunteer FCNs in providing holistic care that integrates physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Key responsibilities include recruiting and orienting FCNs, assessing health needs, coordinating wellness screenings and education events, and presenting to nurses and clergy. The coordinator also maintains program data, ensures compliance, and fosters partnerships with congregations and community organizations to align services with BayCare\'s health priorities and Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNAs). The faith community nurse coordinator is responsible for coordinating the care of the clients enrolled in the FCN Transitional Care Program. Other duties assigned to me personally are event planning for the course Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Curriculum, and other monthly events held by our office. Also work collaboratively to plan and schedule Continuing Education speakers and virtual classes for our staff and volunteers.
