I founded AVID Language to publish inspirational books for deaf and hard of hearing children, written by a range of authors representing different communication approaches, because I understand and respect that there is no \"one-size-fits-all\" when it comes to supporting deaf and hard of hearing children (or any children for that matter) to reach for the stars. All our authors share the same goal: to raise the bar for deaf and hard of hearing children, supporting them not only to chase high expectations for happiness and achievement in all aspects of life, but even to exceed them. Amazing things are possible with a can-do attitude! Representation matters! Inclusion matters! Getting the right support matters! Big dreams matter!
