Robert has a distinguished career and global network established predominantly in strategic battery materials and critical minerals such as antimony, manganese, nickel, vanadium, rare earths, cobalt, graphite, uranium, bauxite, aluminium and lithium.Robert is a hands-on leader, collaborating with colleagues of various cultures and backgrounds, striving to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders in both private and government sectors at local, provincial and federal tiers.Robert has effectively navigated geopolitical challenges to secure trade and investment from collaborative international partners. Coupled with reviewing and developing foreign policy and investment strategies, Robert has secured funding for project development and negotiated product offtake with downstream processors. Robert has demonstrated his cultural intelligence, affinity for Asian business philosophies and skills in Japanese language.In recent years, as geopolitical factors have increasingly impacted global supply chains, efforts have intensified for downstream processors in the EU, USA, Japan and Korea to diversify their supply chains and establish independent processing capabilities. Consequently this has drastically increased the need foreign policy expertise and knowledge of critical minerals where Robert\'s skills and experience are most valuable.
