About Austin Merrill
My career has grown at the intersection between startup sales development, data and analytics, and academia. I specialize in building Sales Development teams from scratch for early and mid-stage startups. I have built teams in political technology, data science, industrial artificial intelligence, and now insurance technology. My team grows the CyberCube community around the world - we want every cyber insurance professional to have access to the data that will count. CyberCube is the world\'s leading cyber insurance startup - our software helps cyber underwriters, cyber reinsurers, and cyber insurance brokers make sense of the quickly changing cyber landscape. CyberCube\'s data models that power our software are the most heavily used in the world - and we have never had a client cancel. Our current clients include Munich Re, Aon, Tokio Marine, Beazley, Guy Carpenter and Cooper Gay - and my team is adding more every week. I also have my M.Sc in Contemporary History from the University of Edinburgh. History research and military analysis are a passion that has taught me so much about the world, history, and critical analysis. My hope is to return to academia as a teacher and a researcher in the near future while continuing my journey in the world of technology.
