About Austin Lorch

I was born and raised in Minnesota, one of the world’s leading hubs for MedTech innovation, where I developed an appreciation for life-changing technology. I focused my undergraduate studies at the intersection of mechanical and electrical engineering, building a foundation for understanding complex, integrated systems.I later moved to New Hampshire to study law, where I strengthened my interest in intellectual property and the role patents play in the world of commercial innovation.Today, I live in Texas and advise companies regarding patent law in a variety of technology spaces, but with a particular emphasis on electro-mechanical systems. I work with a wide range of entities from startups to global enterprises. My practice spans the full spectrum of patent work, including->Counseling: Freedom-to-operate, clearance, and non-infringement opinions->Prosecution: Building enforceable U.S. and international patent portfolios->Post-Grant and Litigation: Invalidity proceedings and infringement matters.For each client my goal remains the same. to translate complex technical problems into practical, business-oriented IP strategies.
