As the Director of Business Development at Custom Control Mfr, I lead a team of sales engineers who deliver automation and power distribution solutions to various industries, such as renewable energy, aviation, and industrial automation. We have secured over 3.2GW of material under contract for battery energy storage systems (BESS) and solar projects, and increased sales by 80% in the second year compared to the baseline business line. I also developed and implemented a CRM system to track customer leads and contact points for relationship-based business.I have a strong background in engineering and finance, with a Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kansas School of Business. I am a licensed Professional Engineer in Kansas, with experience in designing instrumentation, programming DCS systems, and managing multi-million dollar contracts in the power generation industry. I am passionate about industrial automation and its impact on creating the goods and services that we use every day.
