About Austin Jones
As a Senior Product Designer at the world’s premier cybersecurity provider, Austin has designed new products from the ground up and contributed to the development of many others, as well as platform level IA planning. Working in cybersecurity requires urgency, agility and flexibility to keep ahead of rapidly evolving threats - there is no boring day here!Austin has developed products within the SOAR and SIEM markets and contributes to platform level initiatives aimed at bringing a modernized, fluid, and consistent experience across all of CrowdStrike’s many products.His focus is on UX design, AI design, UI design, systems design and research. An advocate for the user, he pushes for research - planning and conducting it himself.Through all phases of the product development cycle, Austin is hands-on and takes great pride and ownership in what he and his brilliant colleagues build together at CrowdStrike.In past careers, Austin was a product designer for Salesforce and IBM. There he worked on products for Apple, American Airlines, PepsiCo, Pfizer, Abbott and many others. He has experience working across Latin America and is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish. He continues his education by studying AI product design at Pratt Institute of Design. Outside of work, Austin is involved in LGBTQIA nonprofits and volunteer organizations focused on professional development for young people.
