The Director of CTE Partnerships leads collaborative efforts to enhance work-based learning experiences thatequip students with the knowledge, skills, and professional habits necessary for successful career transitions. This role fosters partnerships with industry leaders, workforce agencies, post-secondary institutions, and districtstakeholders to facilitate internships, apprenticeships, mentorships, job shadows, paid work, volunteer service, and business tours. Additionally, the Director supports strategy development and management of City Schools\' mentoring and adult relationship initiatives to ensure every student is connected to a post-secondaryopportunity. Establish and maintain relationships with businesses, workforce agencies, and higher education partners to expand work-based learning opportunities, registered apprenticeships, industry certifications, and dual credit programs. Connect students to career pathways and coordinate on- and off-campus educational experiences. Facilitate student preparation for work-based learning experiences. Partner with businesses and professional organizations to identify annual career awareness & exploration events for students and teachers. Ensure compliance with documentation requirements for registered apprenticeships and work-basedlearning programs. Represent City Schools on local workforce development boards and sector partnerships. Expand work-based learning opportunities to middle school students. Collaborate with the Director of Career Readiness, CTE managers, school counselors, CTE instructors,and other staff to ensure programs are designed with equity and inclusion in mind. Engage employers to promote the benefits of work-based learning experiences for all students. Maintain and expand a network of business partners willing to host students across all career clusters. Develop tailored training agreements with business partners, outlining student learning objectives and job responsibilities.
