About Austin Begin

Experienced people manager with over eight years of experience developing teams through the use of innovative training systems and structured performance plans. I am currently acquiring certifications within Human Resources (HRCI). I am seeking an opportunity to create the best employee and customer experiences by bringing more people and ideas together.My experiences have developed my agile leadership style, team-oriented approach, and passion for presenting and spreading knowledge. Formerly, I worked in Human Resources and People Management & Development. I am flexible with position types am looking to work with a motivated team in a permanent, full-time capacity. Additionally, after 6 years at Apple I left in pursuit of a more specific career direction. As a Manager at Apple, it was my job to support both the employee and customer experience. I coached team members to achieve their goals and improve their overall performance, all while feeling good doing it.I took part in hiring, interviewing, training, coaching, and helped to provide the resources that my team members needed to balance their work and life.Livestreaming and video production are two of my passions, which developed my skills of community-building, presentation, managing large audiences, and video editing.Before Apple, I was a consultant at IBM, where I worked on a diverse range of projects. These ranged from creating creative assets using the Adobe Suite or maintaining administrating work. I graduated from Fairfield University in 2015 with a degree in Business Management. During that time, I also took two years\' worth of practical film classes. While in college I filmed weddings, capturing moments and delivering edited packages that couples could keep forever. Ultimately, I am constantly looking to innovate and improve in every area of my work, while celebrating successes and reflecting on failures along the way.
