As Sr. Project Management Specialist, I provide oversight to the day-to-day operations of the Center for Pulmonary Imaging Research (CPIR). The CPIR conducts clinical research and clinical trials utilizing advanced MRI technologies, chiefly the use of inhaled hyperpolarized Xenon gas. My responsibilities include budget oversight of clinical studies, submission of study reports, and personnel management. Additionally, I oversee all operational responsibilities for the Xenon MRI Clinical Trials Consortium, which is comprised of more than a dozen domestic and international research institutions. CCHMC serves as one of the founding members of the Consortium and is the official organizer of its annual meeting each January.
