My field of expertise lies within Software QA, specifically Game Development. My skillset covers a broad range of things that I\'ve employed over the years- Leading teams of Junior Analysts and QA Testers to ensure exceptional test coverage and bug identification / tracking - Training and mentoring junior members of QA to help them achieve their goals, become more talented professionals, and constantly improve / iterate on general game development processes throughout the team - Owning and being responsible for risk analysis, test creation, test planning, test coverage, tester management, and reporting on multiple large-scale systems (Retention systems, Backend systems, and Battle Pass on Fortnite, specifically)- Creating and maintaining large test suite databases for all types of testing (end-to-end, regression, performance, negative, verification, validation, etc) with an emphasis on modularity and efficiency to support a rapid development cycle, while ensuring exceptional coverage - Monitoring deployment to the Live environments (every 2 weeks on Fortnite) and assisting in hotfixes/emergency patches when issues occur - Working very closely with Producers, Developers, Artists, Designers, and Product Managers to maintain a strong line of communication for my systems - Working with Designers and UX teams to give qualitative feedback on the player experience, not just the technical experience - Conducting interviews for candidates across all disciplines of Game Development - Bug identification, writing, and verification - Writing programs/tools to help automate certain test suites as well as other day to day functions I have participated in many internal and live releases of the following games- Fortnite (Live release every 2 weeks with a new season roughly every 3 months)- Infinity Blade 1, 2, and 3 - Spyjinx - Battle Breakers - Paragon I also have a background in programming, primarily in C++ and Java. I am very familiar with JIRA, Perforce, Unreal Engine, TestRail, Zephyr, and all things Google.
