About Austin Shearer
I am an individual who possesses a unique abilities of project management skills and expertise, operational leadership experience, as well as knowledge in operations, finance and process improvement. I believe this gives me a diverse perspective when approaching new challenges and problems. I am actively and successfully leading the Arkansas/Oklahoma AT & T client market. Previously, I had directly serviced the the South Texas market specifically. I also service Michigan/Indiana, Illinois/Wisconsin and Southern California as my secondary markets. This gives me different perspectives from our client across the United States. Working this vast variety of markets has given me skill and knowledge for the telecommunications industry that is hard to come by. Previously, I had worked as a Real Estate Account Analyst. In this role, I was analyzing variances identified on data integrity reports that have a direct impact on Crown’s financials. Before being hired full time for that role, I was a contractor Crown Castle in Job Cost Accounting and Accounts receivable. That experience provided me with much needed financial acumen to start my career with Crown Castle and in the telecommunications field. Additionally, in February 2021, I obtained my Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification to refine my process improvement background. To start my career, I was at BNY Mellon as a member of the Operations Campus Analyst Program. Eventually, I was able to work my way up the ladder and be promoted to Senior Business Operations Analyst focusing on Process Improvement within Portfolio Services. In October of 2019, I obtained a Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from BNY Mellon through the completion of a project. In this project, I helped improve the tracking and reconciliation of $306 million worth of shares/cash proceeds BNY Mellon has with outstanding 3rd Parties such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and Citi Bank. This was able to save the bank approximately overall on process refinement.I believe that through proper leadership, teamwork and sets of core principles, any challenge, no matter how large, can have a solution that benefits all stakeholders.
