Advocate for the building/development industries in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns Counties, as well as for the needs of NEFBA’s over 1,300 member companies.• Responsible for all government affairs at the largest homebuilders association in Florida and the fifth largest in the entire country.• Lobby local, state, and federal elected officials to support the priorities of the building/development industries, as well as support or oppose legislation that affects these industries.• Speak on behalf of NEFBA at events and government meetings.• Serve as a liaison between members and governmental entities.• Manage Political Action Committee (PAC) for NEFBA, and facilitate interviews of political candidates so the association can endorse supportive candidates.• Advise executive leadership on government and political matters.
