With over 19 years of experience in professional accounting, I have developed extensive expertise across multiple service lines while maintaining a commitment to continuous professional growth and excellence. My career has been marked by progressive advancement and a dedication to tackling complex challenges in the accounting, assurance, and compliance fields.Professional Journey:My accounting career began in Accounts Payable at a Construction Company during my university studies. Upon graduation, I joined BDO Canada LLP, where I embarked on my journey toward professional designation. After successfully obtaining both my CA and CPA designations in 2012, I have continued to advance within BDO, currently as a Senior Manager in the National team. In this role, I work collaboratively across both the BSO and Assurance service lines, leveraging my expertise to deliver high-quality solutions to our people and clients.Community Leadership:As Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Barrie Public Library, I provide oversight of library operations and serve as a dedicated advocate for library services within the community. This role allows me to contribute meaningfully to public service while developing valuable leadership and governance experience.Personal Interests:Outside of my professional commitments, I am a dedicated father of three who actively nurtures intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking through reading and engaging in various tabletop and trading card games with my children.
