ABOUT AUSTIN MADISON

With nearly two decades of experience in the employee benefits and insurance space, I am proud to lead The MJ Companies’ Nashville office as Market President – Tennessee. My specialty is strategic consulting for employer groups concerning employee benefits, cost containment, and risk mitigation. I have deep expertise in consumer-driven healthcare, results-driven wellness, employee communication and education concerning insurance, employee wellness, and benefits management, including voluntary as well as employer-paid group benefits. I am responsible for employee benefits products sales, carrier relationships, and industry partner relationships. Coaching and mentorship are central to my management style. I am obsessed with strategy and with mentoring colleagues to “grow and win,” and I strive to apply those values and lessons to benefits management and employee relations. With deep experience running benefits management at some of the nation’s top-ranked firms in the large national broker space, I was drawn to MJ for the company’s people-first corporate culture; its superior resources, technology and data tools; and its commitment to balancing best-in-industry revenue growth and healthy profit margins with its clients’ and employees’ wellbeing.
