About Austin Kepsel

I’m a driven accounting student and recent graduate of Michigan State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Accounting with a 4.0 GPA as a first-generation student, with an additional focus in Information Technology. I’ve begun MSU’s Master of Science in Accounting program, continuing to build a strong technical and analytical foundation.This past summer, I interned with Dow in the II & I Manufacturing Cost Accounting department, gaining hands-on experience in corporate cost accounting and learning how financial insights support complex, global manufacturing operations. The experience strengthened my understanding of how accounting informs strategic and operational decision-making.I enjoy leveraging technology and automation, including advanced Excel and coding, to improve efficiency and solve problems within financial processes. Looking ahead, I plan to earn my CPA and pursue leadership roles in accounting and finance.Always open to connecting and discussing accounting, finance, and career opportunities.
