I am a strategic and compassionate leader with a proven track record of delivering results at the intersection of government relations and nonprofit development. My career has centered on advancing mission-driven organizations by securing vital funding, shaping public partnerships, and implementing systems that drive sustainable growth, even amid organizational transformation and regulatory complexity.I led efforts that secured over $4.3 million in competitive government and philanthropic funding in just 4 years. These included city, county, and state operating and capital budget wins, along with foundation and corporate support. I built a durable bipartisan coalition of public-sector champions, engaging city council members, county commissioners, and state legislators from both parties. This broad support helped stabilize funding pipelines, expand capacity, and position The Refuge as a credible, results-oriented provider in Ohio’s recovery ecosystem.In parallel, I spearheaded a two-year campaign to earn OhioMHAS state certification. This effort involved translating complex compliance demands into accessible, mission-aligned practices, working with Medicaid consultants, HIPAA and IT security teams, and frontline staff. I also led the design and launch of a new clinical services department, integrating recovery support with financial literacy, legal aid, and workforce development, dramatically improving outcomes and participant retention.My leadership style is rooted in clarity, humility, and shared ownership.
