About Austin Henry
First and foremost I love to build. Ever since I took my first shop class in Gretna Middle School I\'ve been obsessed with working with my hands to design and build projects that are unique, challenging, and beautiful. Through high school and college I\'ve built furniture, motorcycles, bicycles, a climbing wall, a steel shade structure, and many more projects. Today that love for building has brought me to a multifaceted industry that demands technical knowledge, interpersonal skill, and contractual scrutiny in order to solve problems.I am interested in materials and practices like mass timber, rammed earth, and passive house that are changing construction and the built environment. I love to learn and have a passion for developing myself into a leader in the construction industry.
