About Austin Farber
Austin Farber was an Engineering student at Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA. He was in a 5 year program with three 6 month Co-Op cycles to receive a Bachelors of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with a focus in Control Systems. Austin Farber has successfully graduated getting both degrees and has been awarded Cum Laude for his degrees. He is now working in the Automotive Industry for Eaton after previously working in a leadership role at ZF.His area of interest are focused in using signal processing applications and fusing that with control algorithm development toward building an overall system that perceives and can act on sensory input. His work has been focused in data acquisition, analog and digital signal processing, statistics, mathematical programming, robotics and control algorithm design. He is extremely hard working and has a passion for what he is learning in school as well as the working world.In addition to his working life, Austin stays very attached to working for the community. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Austin has pride in doing right by his city and helping where help is due. He is involved in many community reach activities as well as other volunteering efforts. Austin actively mentors high school students in FIRST Robotics.
