Project Engineers in M & TE are responsible for the management and successful implemtation of a portfolio of diverse projects at our company facilities. Projects can range from small maintenance tasks to new multi million dollar developments. Projects typically involve petroleum product storage tanks; terminal facilities; pipeline facilities and our network of pipelines. Project Engineers take their portfolio of projects through the 5 phases of the Marathon Project Management Process (MPMP) including Conceptual, Feasibility, Definition, Implementation and Start-up/Close-out (Marathon Petroleum Corporation, 2017).
