Austin Cromack currently serves as Senior Counsel to U.S. Senator Jim Justice (WV). Prior to working in the U.S. Senate, he served as Special Counsel to the House Judiciary Committee where he conducted congressional oversight and investigations at the direction of Chairman Jim Jordan (OH-04).Prior to working on the Hill, Austin served as Deputy General Counsel to the Republican National Lawyers Association. He simultaneously served as Associate Counsel for the Center for Election Confidence—formerly Lawyers Democracy Fund—where he worked with counsel around the United States to advance pro-election integrity litigation in key swing states. Austin’s legal career began in his home state of Arizona where he worked as a law clerk in the Arizona House of Representative Majority Counsel’s Office, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey’s Office of General Counsel, and the Elections Division of the Arizona Secretary of State throughout his time at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. He also served as a law clerk to the Republican National Committee General Counsel’s Office. Austin is actively involved in the Christian Legal Society DC Metro Chapter, where he serves as Secretary.
