About Austin Cottarel
My passion for engineering and product design motivated me to graduate with a B.S.E in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University (ASU). While attending ASU I gained experience in sensor design, sensor filtering, human trials, market product development, and business strategies. I am passionate about making devices for Type One Diabetics like myself to improve the lives of all diabetics in my community. I have recently been working in clinical care settings to gain more experience before attending medical school. I am excited to begin my journey towards becoming a pediatric endocrinologist. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy hiking, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and traveling.
