About Austin Correia
Born and raised in San Diego, California, and a proud graduate of Hawai‘i Pacific University, I’ve built my career around creativity, community, and connection.Before moving to Honolulu, I spent four years as the General Manager of Ocean Beach Surf and Skate, where I developed partnerships with over 30 vendors and built strong relationships across the action sports and apparel industries. That experience gave me a solid foundation in marketing, networking, communication, and leadership which are skills I continue to build on today.Since relocating to O‘ahu, I’ve expanded into the music and media world as the manager of the reggae rock band Backset, leading them through three tours and producing countless shows, photo/video shoots, and social media campaigns. I also founded Lost and Found Media, a local promotions and production company dedicated to supporting Hawai‘i’s creative community by hosting concerts and events that spotlight local artists.Currently, I serve as the Event Coordinator and Media Consultant at Pacific Media Group, where I oversee event production, client activations, and media strategy. I began at PMG as an Assistant Event Coordinator, organizing event logistics and staffing before stepping into a leadership role to create and execute our own in-house events including the launch of HI93’s Local Break, a first of its kind music and comedy competition.I’m passionate about connecting people through music, art, and live experiences. I\'m always looking for ways to elevate Hawai‘i’s creative scene and bring fresh ideas to life.Open to opportunities in event production, marketing, media, artist relations, and community partnerships.
