I am an account manager at Microsoft, specifically within the Gaming Solutions Sales department focusing on Xbox Advertising. My team works with game publisher clients who are able to play their games on the Xbox console.Similar to my time at Yahoo, I work with an aligned account team comprised of a seller, account manager, and technical engineer to book advertising campaigns for our partnering advertisers and agencies. I help pitch our advertising capabilities to our clients, work on media plans/RFPs, insertion orders (IOs), and book the media in our internal platforms to launch the client\'s ads across our owned and operated properties. Along with these tasks, I also provide reporting and analytics to my client\'s active campaigns on a weekly basis. Based on the data I recommend optimizations and implement them upon client approval to produce the highest campaign results. Additionally, I assist with billing and invoicing to my clients and ensure everything is billed properly. I work closely with the Microsoft finance team in case and adjustments are required.
