Project: WSSC Water Bio-Energy (2020-current) Location: Accokeek, MD Role: Project Engineer ($271 million contract value) Project: Binghamton Waste Water & Sewage Treatment Plant (20••••20)($132 million contract value) Roles: Field & Project Engineer • Field Engineering Responsibilities: Lead surveyor for all construction stake out/survey work. Providing line and grade to all field trades on site, providing project engineers and project superintendents with as-built data (i.e. Existing pipe profiles, structure layout, etc.), concrete lift drawings, concrete quantities, system coordination/clash, proficient use in Civil 3D, Revit Architecture, Tekla Structures, Trimble Access, and other survey based software. Use of Unified Total Stations, GPS, & 3D Laser Scanners on a daily basis. Staying up to date and knowledgeable of all RFI\'s, COR\'s, and contract drawings. Understanding of how large scale systems work, recognition of problems prior to construction, & providing plausible solutions to those problems from a construction standpoint. Responsibilities also include coordinating existing to remain/new mechanical pipe, ductwork, and other major structures. • Project Engineering Responsibilities: Management of CSI Division\'s. Composition, submission, & coordination of RFI\'s, submittals, shop drawings, & contract drawings. Recognition & understanding of long-term project schedule, as well as three-week look ahead schedules. Managing & phasing potential change items (PCI\'s) & back charges. Completion & submission of the project\'s monthly requisition to the owner. Creating scope of work items for new subcontracts & managing the complete buyout process. Management & engineering of all new equipment maintenance & storage until operational & turned over to the owner. Design of varying solutions where field conditions do not resemble original conditions as shown on contract documents.
