About Austin Cappleman

I\'m a healthcare business and marketing graduate from the University of Oklahoma who graduated in December of 2024. I worked as a Campus Tour Guide for the University and as a Price College of Business Ambassador, giving tours in both areas. My most passionate organization, however, is the Oklahoma Dance Marathon, or OUDM. I started my first year of college and worked my way up to becoming president in my junior year and raising $274,503.24 for the OKC Children\'s Hospital under my leadership. On the professional level, I am pursuing a career in the medical device sales field. In the summer of 2023 and 2024, I Interned with Synergy Surgical LLC in Dallas, Texas. I learned about the surgical sales field while in the operating room with surgeons and reps, learning about the devices, navigating different hospitals, and getting well-versed in the Sterile Processing Department. I am appreciative of the guidance and direction given to me by both Synergy employees and the orthopedic surgeons I had the privilege to work by daily.
