Responsible for coordinating and working on change requests. These change requests were made to change BOMs, Engineering Drawings, Routes, and Work Instructions in accordance with ISO 13485.Utilized the ERP system (D365 - Finance and Operations) to update BOMs, Routes, and costs in accordance to change requests and product rationalization. Updated fixtures and G-code on vertical mills to improve the machining processes on site. Developed video WI as an improvement to existing WI to retain knowledge and improve processes. Conducted pilot builds on outsourced parts to confirm form, fit, and function as part of an outsourcing campaign. Developed Gemba meeting and philosophy for production personnel and management in order to drive lean improvements and quick problem solving on the production floor. Conducted machine capacity / capability campaign in order to determine where gaps were on our machines and ensure we are able to flex resources due to machine downtime and efficiencies. Responsible for validating a laser etch machine in accordance with ISO 13485 and documenting the process. Responsible for providing dispositions for non conforming parts in accordance with the established NCR process.
