ABOUT AUSTIN BRUCK

I’m a Bucknell University graduate who loves and majored in neuroscience. I find the intersection of the mind and the body to be particularly interesting and have taken many classes that help me to understand this relationship more deeply. As I look at my time at Bucknell, my favorite class was challenging and innovative. In it, we measured the nervous system’s electricity. These experiences were foundational to my life’s narrative. I am an experienced tour guide. I strive to truly reach those with whom I engage—this is what I believe leads to true success. My ability to communicate effectively allows me to really enjoy leadership positions. As an Event Planner, I coordinated large events accommodating upwards of 200 members each. As a Fraternity President, I made a lasting impact on my fraternity and community. I am currently affiliated with the Daughters of Miriam nursing home in Beachwood, OH. I accompany the dying on life’s final journey and serve as a resource throughout the process. I love the position and hope to continue this work throughout my life and for the foreseeable future.
