I was born in Boston, MA but was raised in Kent, WA. My father is from Cape Verde and my mother\'s side of the family is Belizean. I have graduated with a B.S. in Accounting and am an active CPA. I am currently an Assurance Senior Manager with Moss Adams - Seattle. I primarily work with non-profit and professional services clients with a technical expertise in federal grant compliance audits. I aspire to make history representing black women in the business world and always work hard to create an inclusive workplace where my team feels they truly belong.Now, here is my personal brand: I am INDEPENDENT. I am oriented towards working hard and consider myself an outgoing introvert. I want to succeed and bring other people with me through the path I create. We should all be lifting as we climb.
