ABOUT AURIANE MARLANGUE

I firmly believe what matters the most in life is to do what makes you happy. My academic career was a long route. I studied economics in Class Prepa ECE in Saint-Michel de Picpus and Political Sciences at University Catholic in Lille, in ESPOL. Between these two courses, I took a gap year during which I wanted to acquire professional and world experiences. During the first semester, I worked in many different fields such as architecture (Atelier FB, Paris 2), business in a Start-Up (The Charging Place, Paris 8), an accounting office (MACOFI, Paris 17), and hospitality (Atypik Hotel, Clichy). The second semester, I went by myself to South America. My encounters and experiences allowed me to have a fresher vision of my European life. I, therefore, speak Spanish in addition to French, English and German. During my Erasmus at the Zeppelin University in Germany, I realised social sciences were not for me. I love travelling, baking, speaking foreign languages and having special attention to people. I then figured hospitality was the perfect field for me and applied at Les Roches Hospitality School. Today, I am following the Master Degree in International Hospitality Management, and I am perfectly happy with my choice. About tomorrow? I am currently looking for an internship in Doha, Qatar. About the day after? Keeping-Up with Palaces or entering events planning or…Creating my own touristic guides? Let’s see, I am open to opportunities!
