About Aurelia Grayson

With years of experience as a news producer, writer and copy editor, I have a track record of distinctive storytelling. My background in journalism and nonprofit communications led to my current role as a senior communications officer for the Wallace Foundation, which works nationally to answer important questions that, if solved, could help strengthen practices and policies in education and the arts. At Autism Speaks, a global nonprofit organization, I collaborated on media campaigns aimed at increasing understanding and acceptance of children and adults with autism, as well as raising funds for research and resources that enhance lives. In my role as senior broadcast producer a NBC Nightly News, I worked with a large team to see the big picture and fine-tune the details. Known for thinking strategically, calmly and creatively, I’ve led diverse teams to produce top-rated broadcasts, breaking news coverage and branded series. They include the NBC News franchises Making a Difference and Education Nation. As a broadcast producer at CBS This Morning, I gained experience managing high-profile interviews and big events. Along the way, our teams earned some of the most respected awards in journalism. Trained as a classical pianist, I’m an enthusiastic advocate for the arts, education and families.
