Ensure adherence to food safety & quality management systems and health and safety regulations.Monitor all operations that affect quality.Coordinate and run all customer, regulatory and GMP audits and report all findings to themanagement team for corrective actions.Determine, negotiate, and agree on in-house procedures, standards, and specifications with management team.Write and Implement policies and procedures to be in line with GAP/GMP, FSMA and must be able to identify gaps in these areas.Assess and ensure customer requirements are met.Perform all validations and verifications of the FSMS (Food Safety Management System).Responsible for product holds and inventory of products on hold.Environmental, Allergen & Sanitation monitoring (quarterly, weekly & daily swabbing of designated areas).Submit environmental and finished product samples to third party lab for microbial, quality indicator, shelf life and water activity testing,Train employees on-site according to companies training matrix.Resolve and record customer complaints in company software program.Coordinate recalls and bi-annual traceability studies with recall team.
